Bitlord is fucking fantastic. Not only can you virtually get any software, porn, and music on it. You wouldn't believe this, I'm just downloading this huge 4.2G math book/solution manual collection as we speak. Hopefully I can use and make a few bucks on campus next semester.

I just downloaded bitlord. and I like what i see. Very user friendly and fast results. One question what does "health" imply? The likelihood of a virus?

Health is just telling you how much shit is out there for you to download (ie. people seeding your file)..The higher the better.

I'd browse some web sites and shit about torrents to find your favorite search engine (I use http://www.isohunt.com/ ) but you'll probably want one that focuses on fucking, tweaks to speed up your download (I got mine 2x as fast) depending on your connection, and just useful info.

It's worth it if you're going to use it alot.

Exactly those cats post on there as often as TheRx. I've known about this site for a minute but I didnt think that was considered P2p

I would strongly suggest investing in a rapidshare or sendshare account as well as an external hard drive. Some of those files are huge.

What school? Up here at UCONN we have an awesome dc++ hub. download speeds of 1.12mb/sec compared to 40kbs/sec with torrents.

You need to tweak your ports and shit if you're getting 40kbs/sec on torrents. I have a shitty DSL and I snag around an average 125kbs on the decently seeded (60kbs before I fucked around with some tips).

Although I will say 1.12mb/sec is ridiculous for a school network or any network for that matter.

Do you know a Dale Cunningham by any chance? UCONN is huge but it's worth a shot, he should be a Senior or just graduated by now. He was a couple years before me at Staples HS (Westport).

I didn't know him or anything, but he was in my Geology class last semester. Only reason I remember his name because it was a big lecture hall and everyone sat in in the scrunched together seats except he had his own wooden desk way in the back.

Btw, westport is a fucking nice area.
